    The May Monthly Fellowship gathering of Dragon Junior Chamber International was held at One Sliversea clubhouse on Friday, 17th May 2013.  The main theme of the gathering is “How to be the Apple of his/her eye?”.  So Klose was invited as Guest Speaker to discuss the current dating situation in Hong Kong and to share the dating tips through a role play session.

    Xiamen Hong Kong Brand Festival was successfully held in April 2013.  A series of stage performances and thematic programmes with focus on selected manufacturing or service industries was lined up at the expo venue, scattering over the exhibition period, in an attempt to demonstrate the diversity, viability and lifestyle-orientation of Hong Kong brands.

    Recently, So Klose was invited by a group of social science undergraduates of The University of Hong Kong as a participant in a research project on "The trend of dating between Hong Kong women and men from mainland".   The interview was conducted at the office on Sunday, 7 April 2013 with the focus on the phenomenon of Hong Kong females’ acceptance of Mainland Chinese men as a long term companion.  This includes the recent dating trend of So Klose's clients; the "ideal lover”requirements of Hong Kong female clients; the possibility of Hong Kong female clients marrying Mainland males; the consequences of cross-border marriages if the policy of opening up the border was revised, and the reasons why mainland men would look for Hong Kong women as a long term companion, and so on.

    最近,緣來這麼近被香港大學社會科學系一群本科生誠邀為研究項目『香港女性和內地男性之間的約會趨勢』的參與者。並於201347日(星期日)在本司辦公室進行訪問。訪問內容關於香港女性接受內地男性為伴侶的現況,例如: 緣來這麼近客戶最近的約會趨勢; 香港女性客戶對 「理想伴侶的要求」; 如果開放邊境政策進行了修訂對跨國婚姻的影響; 香港女性客戶與內地男性結婚的可能性, 及內地男性尋找香港女性為伴侶的原因,等等。

    So Klose® went through a preliminary screening by the Judging Panel of The Hong Kong Brand Development Council (HKBDC) and was short-listed to a pool of 100 Hong Kong Brands finalists to display products and information at a product showcase “Brand Hong Kong-Stylish Gallery” at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center from 27 April to 2 May 2013.  The judging criteria will be primarily based on 3 aspects – Company Background, Branding and Characteristics of Services.  With the theme of "Trendy and Quality Life", the Gallery features seven categories of consumer products, including fashion & accessories, jewelry & watches, household products & fine living, home appliances, food, Chinese medicine & healthcare products, and baby-caring products.     About The Matchmaking Institute

    The Matchmaking Institute was established to set a code of ethics and strict quality standards in the matchmaking industry in New York in 2003. It is the first institute offering a matchmaking training & certification, introducing singles to Certified Matchmakers(TM), and providing matchmakers with a network of peers & support.

    Its core mission is to help build a healthy community, share resources, and maintain quality control in the industry and strive to create a greater public and media awareness of this industry and to raise standards across all of the industry and enhance the image of our industry.  A major goal of the association is to mainstream the matchmaking industry by removing the stigma and mystery historically attached to it.
